You have found the personal website of yours truly, The Real DJ Steve, a local disc jockey in Kansas City. I have been working as a mobile DJ for the past fifteen years on a part-time basis on and off. In 2010, I accepted my personal destiny and began to focus on DJing full time.
Part of me going "full time" means that I am going to invest the time and effort into doing this the best way I know how. Weddings are and will probably always be the majority of my professional life. However, there are a LOT of other cool things that go along with being a professional DJ.
After a wedding is over, there will be plenty of other occasions that good music can help upgrade an event and I prefer that my relationship with clients be on-going. Having two sites and blogs means I can streamline the wedding side AND share some other information to those who aren't in the process of planning a wedding right now.
